Frequently asked questions
Crowdfunding allows individuals to invest in private companies they believe in by buying shares and becoming shareholders. For the Oli help campaign, this means you can invest in Oli help and participate in our growth as we scale early, everyday evidence-based support for kids with diverse minds — and the adults who care for them. Instead of raising capital exclusively from venture funds, we’re inviting our community — parents, educators, clinicians and supporters — to invest alongside us and become part of the company’s future.
Oli help was built from lived experience and shaped by the people it serves. We believe companies creating systemic impact should grow with aligned, long-term shareholders — not only institutional capital. We are building infrastructure for everyday support, and we want the people who believe in this mission — and who understand the gap — to have the opportunity to participate in its growth.
Republic Europe is a regulated UK and EU private investment platform that enables individuals to invest in startups and growth companies. All investments in the Oli help campaign will be made securely through their platform and in accordance with UK and EU financial regulations. Republic Europe was previously known as Seedrs, so you may still see references to Seedrs in some legal documents or materials.
Eligibility to invest in the Oli help crowdfunding campaign depends on local investment regulations and the rules of the Republic Europe platform. In general, adults who are 18 years or older and who complete the onboarding and risk acknowledgement processes on the platform can invest, subject to any jurisdiction-specific limits that may apply. The offering documents on Republic Europe will list the specific regions and eligibility details for this campaign. In the meantime, you can pre-register your interest so you’re notified as soon as the round opens and you can begin your investment when it goes live.
Pre-registration allows you to express early interest in the Oli help crowdfunding campaign and receive priority access when the round opens. It helps us understand demand and ensures you’re among the first to be notified when investing becomes available. Pre-registration is not a financial commitment and does not obligate you to invest. When the campaign launches, you’ll be invited to complete your investment directly through the Republic Europe platform.
Crowdfunding involves investing in a private company rather than a publicly listed one. Oli help is not traded on a stock exchange, which means there is no daily buying and selling of shares and no public market price that changes minute by minute. Startup investments are typically long-term and illiquid, and returns — if they occur — usually happen if the company is acquired, goes public, or distributes dividends in the future. For this reason, crowdfunding should be approached with a long-term mindset.
Investing in early-stage companies offers the opportunity to support a mission you believe in while participating in the potential long-term growth of the business. As an investor in Oli help, you would be backing a company working to scale early, everyday evidence-based support for kids with diverse minds — and the adults who care for them — with the possibility of a financial return if the company succeeds.
Investing in startups carries significant risk. You could lose some or all of your investment, shares are typically illiquid, and returns are never guaranteed. For this reason, crowdfunding should only be undertaken with money you can afford to lose and after reviewing all available information carefully.
Crowdfunding investments are typically illiquid, which means you cannot request your money back once the campaign has closed. Shares are not freely tradable like public stocks and can usually only be sold if the company is acquired, goes public, or approves a share transfer. Republic may operate a secondary market at certain times, but participation is not guaranteed and buyers are not assured. For this reason, investments should be made with a long-term perspective.
Unlike publicly traded stocks, there is no daily market price for shares in a private company. The value of your investment may change if Oli help raises future funding at a higher or lower valuation, is acquired, goes public, or distributes dividends in the future. Investors receive updates through the platform about company progress and funding rounds, but changes in value are typically reflected during major company events rather than on a daily basis.
Crowdfunding campaigns typically set a minimum funding target that must be reached for the investment round to complete. If the Oli help campaign does not reach this minimum amount, the round will not proceed, no shares will be issued, and any committed funds will be returned to investors through the platform. Funds are only transferred to Oli help if the minimum target is successfully reached.
Funds raised through this campaign will support the next phase of Oli help’s growth, including expansion into new geographies starting with the UK, strengthening partnerships with schools and clinical ecosystems, advancing AI-assisted personalisation, and progressing our clinical validation pathway toward reimbursement. Our focus is on scaling early, everyday evidence-based support for kids with diverse minds and the adults who care for them, responsibly and sustainably.
Yes. Investors will receive updates through the Republic Europe platform about company progress, milestones and future funding rounds. We believe in transparent communication and in building long-term relationships with our shareholders. As part of this campaign, investors will also receive complimentary Oli help membership access, allowing you to experience the platform directly or gift it to someone who could benefit.
Investors in this campaign will receive complimentary Oli help membership access aligned with their investment amount. Any investment includes one year of access; investments of £500 or more include five years; and investments of £10,000 or more include lifetime access. Membership can be used personally or gifted to someone who could benefit from early, everyday evidence-based support. If you are already an Oli help member, your access will be extended or upgraded in line with these tiers.
In certain countries, tax incentives may be available when investing in startups. If you are resident in Italy, Oli help is registered as a Startup Innovativa a Vocazione Sociale, and the applicable Italian tax incentives for qualifying investments may apply, subject to individual circumstances and current legislation. We recommend consulting your tax advisor or your country’s tax authority to understand how any potential relief may apply to you.
